R0BERTS REPORT
Ecclesiastes 10:1 “Dead flies cause the ointment of the apothecary to send forth a stinking savour: so doth a little folly, him that is in reputation for wisdom and honour.”
The Indian community has not escaped; but is permeated with religions that claim they are of God. Confusion reigns among the churches deceiving unsaved and carnal believers. This is bringing strong resistance and persecution against the Pastors, their families and congregations.
Please hold these brethren up before God in much effectual prayer as they stand to the glory of God. They know 2 Cor. 4: 1 – 18 well, and for the cause of Christ will not faint.
AMEN. Thank you for your prayers.
I stand in awe as our Saviour, Jesus Christ, builds His Church among our beloved Indian peoples. We are blessed of God to labour for Him
Spring 2011 ministry was very rewarding.
April 1 – 26 Akwesasne Baptist Church St. Regis, N.Y.
Hubert Hill was the speaker at the Fellowship of Indian Baptist Church Good Friday Service which was hosted at Medina
Baptist Church on the Six Nations Reserve near Brantford Ontario. Some of the Akwesasne Church congregation were able to attend this conference as well. Randy Redie is a faithful helper in this work. I assisted Hubert with the workload helping with visitation speaking and other ministries. We are still praying for Pastor Hubert Hill’s health at present it is stabilized by medication. Doris has seen some improvement in her legs. Sharon King a faithful attendee has had serious health problems.
April 27 – May 17 Six Nation Reserve
Garth conducted Biblical Separation seminars in the mornings of the week Bethany Baptist church held an Evangelistic conference. Each evening a pastor from Fellowship of Indian Baptist churches spoke. The Six Nations churches are rejoicing in 11 professions of salvations in March and April of 2011. Please pray for the four new converts who are struggling with victory over past lives.
2 Cor 5:20 “Now then we are ambassadors for CHRIST, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.” Verse twenty was our class verse for the class of 1960 at Practical Bible Training School.
We desire, by Gods grace to be good ambassadors for Christ to God’s glory. Knowing God had called us together in missions, we have never lost that focus. God’s call for us was Indian people. We have seen many souls come to repentance and be reconciled to God in salvation, we have witnessed many who have been discipled and become obedient to God in baptism and joining the church. God’s word has been faithfully taught and numerous commit their lives to Christ and fulfilled the mandate of Ephesians 4 “To do the work of the ministry.” We have sometime been weary in the ministry but never weary of the ministry. Thank you for upholding us in prayer and support for the past 49 years.
We praise God for you
Sincerely,
Garth & Margaret Roberts
